Auspicious Lunar Month (Neutral) : Margasira and Kartika
Auspicious Constellations (Best): Rohini, Mrigasira, Uttarashada, Chitra and Uttarabhadra
Auspicious Constellations (Neutral): Anuradha and Revati

Don'ts
Day: Tuesday (may cause arguments at home)
Day: Saturday (may cause theft or damage at home)

Besides choosing the right combination two most essential Puja /Homam are
1. Vastu and Greh Shanti Homam
2. Greh Pravesh Puja

These Puja / Homam should be performed at some auspicious time of the day as well.
